NEW YORK --- Sam Bankman-Fried pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, January 3, to criminal charges that he cheated investors in his now-bankrupt FTX cryptocurrency exchange and caused billions of dollars in losses in what prosecutors have called an epic fraud.
