MANILA, Philippines --- Over 61 million Filipinos have so far been vaccinated against COVID-19. Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., the national vaccine manager, said on Monday in the weekly taped "Talk to the People" briefing with President Rodrigo Duterte. Galvez, the chief implementor of the National Task Force Against COVID-19, said that the government had administered 131.7 million doses: 61,449,151 for second doses (which complete the vaccination) 61,138,233 for first doses Meanwhile, 9,071,666 individuals have already gotten their booster shots. "Many experts say that we need boosters because after three months or four months our vaccine starts to wane," Galvez said...
