MANILA, Philippines --- Around P1.1 million worth of suspected crystal meth or shabu was seized by operatives during a buy-bust operation in Navotas City, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said on Wednesday. According to reports from NCRPO director Maj. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr., officers from the Navotas Police conducted a buy-bust operation on Monday, at Barangay Tanza 1. The suspect, identified as a certain Rudy Las Pias, 40, was arrested during the operation. Nine sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu were seized from Las Pias.
