MANILA, Philippines --- The trough of a low pressure area (LPA) outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) will bring cloudy skies with rain showers in most parts of the country on Saturday, the state weather bureau reported on Friday. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the LPA is detected 485 kilometers south of General Santos City. The LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Bicol Region, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan (Mimaropa), and the entire Visayas and Mindanao.
